Built my first PC

A little background
Mechanical engineering and software meet in robotics. That’s where a lot of my time goes.
01 / About me
Robotics brings together the things I like most: mechanical design, software, and figuring out why something doesn’t work yet. I spend time with my FIRST Robotics Competition team designing, building, and teaching.
Outside robotics, I work on software projects and computer hardware. I built my first PC in 2020, started using Linux in 2022, and have kept exploring both ever since.
I use AI tools for research and software development, both locally and in the cloud. This site is a place to collect what I’m working on and what I learn along the way.
02 / Along the way
A few starting points from
my project history.
Researched the components, put the system together, and found a new interest in computer hardware.
Moved beyond Windows and began learning how the parts of an operating system work together.
Mechanical engineering and team leadership became a bigger part of my work.
This site lives on an old HP laptop running Arch Linux, with Cloudflare in front of it. It’s built with Astro and served by Nginx. Giving existing hardware another job feels right at home here.
